salad recipes (for weight loss)?


When ever I make a salad I NEVER forget the veggies or protein in addition to lettuce, I add carrots, radicchio, kidney beans, chick peas, boiled eggs, a pinch of shredded cheese, turkey bacon bits, McCormick Salad toppers , black and green olives and a few chunks of grilled chicken tossed with a few table spoons of Kraft going light ranch dressing. It's so good My husband is even satisfied when I make this.

    Hi there; you can choose a lot of the fresh vegetables that are out there, just go easy on the dressing and cheese,croutons if you use these items..Remember just because it says low fat doesn't mean it's better and you can just pile it on..You may want to stay with fresh vegetables because there is less fat.calories,carbs,etc.You can also add fresh fruit,nuts(make sure that the nuts don't have salt), and some cottage cheese..Remember the key to losing weight is moderation and exercises…You may want to add some salmon or other types of fish to your diet..Blueberries are very high in antioxidants..I hope this helps you and best of health to you..
