Lighten Up |
Friday, September 5th, 2008 |
The theme for today is “lighten up.” In several ways…
Substitute fat, salt and processed foods for foods rich in vitamins and minerals, organic fruits and vegetables and whole grains, and lots of water.
Exercise 4-5 days a week. Even a brisk 40 minute walk that often will help you lighten up.
Unburden yourself from stresses. Exercise helps with that, as does going out and helping others, joining a supportive weightloss circle, or writing in your journal. Stress causes levaquin generic most folks to binge eat and snack like crazy. Not good if you want to lighten up!
Another meaning of lightening up is, don’t take yourself so seriously. I got a post today from a reader who was profane and abusive. This is just a simple blog where opinions and ideas are shared for pete’s sake! It’s not a medical journal or a scholarly publication.
I didn’t post the above mentioned comment because I don’t publish profane and abusive material, though I’m sure some slips by as some new and group feeds will bring in comments and articles from time to time that I haven’t had a chance to monitor and delete.
One valid comment from my erstwhile critic I have taken to heart and remedied. She/he was right that I needed a Disclaimer, and I’ve added one on the right hand column. It provides copyright information and all the legal stuff a website is supposed to mention. I also talk about the fact that I do not always agree with comments and articles included here; I don’t warrant the accuracy of all the information here. I do try my best to bring you the latest, best and most accurate information I can find on Diet supplements, various related weight loss products, and suggestions on various Ways to lose weight. I monitor automatic posts regularly, but certainly not minute by minute as they may change often. This brings you constantly new information, but you will need to judge for yourself about whether some of the comments are valid.
I do appreciate and monitor comments. Please feel free to contact me. I also added a contact form on the right hand column to ease your effort to reach me.
